Mrs Europa Faapoi is a registered nurse currently working in Aged Care facilities in Sydney. She was nominated by the Board of Directors thus invited her to become a member of the Board in July 2019. She is a woman with wealth of knowledge and experience in aged care, surgical, and medical fields of nursing. She holds many qualifications in Nursing, Social Development in Healthcare, Training and Assessment and Workplace Health and Safety. Mrs Faapoi is a humble individual who has been professionally trained in areas of multicultural domestic violence, leadership and managing staff in the healthcare area.

With her extensive work experience in the health and community sector, she is efficient and prides herself on attention to detail and high-level interpersonal skills. Mrs Faapoi enjoys visiting participants and staff at their group homes or short-term accommodation as she believes that the Board plays a significant role in promoting positive interactions within the organisation and to ensure that the participants’ wellbeing and safety is the organisation’s top priority. Mrs Faapoi is known for her commitment to people with disabilities and enthusiasm in supporting families and communities’ ‘living free from abuse’.
